This International Women’s Day, join us at the Oklahoma State Capitol for “Rise Like Rosie: Cookin’ Up Change”—a day of solidarity, empowerment, and action. Together, we will honor the resilience of women, amplify our voices, and rally for change.

Calling on Oklahoma Veterans
Oklahoma Veterans, answer the call! We invite you to form a Human Wall around the South Plaza to stand in protection and unity. Meet at the Capitol Steps at 11:45 AM to take your place. Your presence matters.
A Powerful Kickoff
The event will open with a stirring Indigenous Intertribal Dance performed by Rochelle Redbone Arebalo, Victoria Ann Redbird, and Karmani Zayan Montaocean, leading into a Land Acknowledgement and Women Elder Ceremony—a moment to honor the wisdom and contributions of women from all walks of life.
What to Bring
🔹 Pots, pans, and wooden spoons – Let’s make some noise!
🔹 Flags and signs – Your message deserves to be seen.🔹 Attire: Rosie the Riveter, traditional cultural attire, or pride attire is encouraged.
Give Back: Support Women in Need
We are collecting socks, bras, and underwear for the Oklahoma Crisis Center, including the VA, as well as feminine hygiene products for our unhoused women. Bring donations to help lift up those in need.
Health & Safety
Masks will be available at booths for those who need them.
